Compensation: $120K CAD OTE ($70k base + $50k commission + options

Role Overview

As an Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in driving new revenue growth and ensuring customer success. This position blends inside and outside sales strategies, empowering educators to revolutionize their teaching.


Key Responsibilities

  • Territory Ownership:
  • Take charge of target universities across North America, utilizing an account-based, bottom-up sales model.
  • Full-Cycle Sales:
  • Manage every step of the sales journey, from prospecting and product demos to closing deals, onboarding, and upselling.
  • Hybrid Sales Activities:
  • Combine cold calling, email outreach, and virtual demos with in-person networking and campus visits.
  • Customer Engagement:
  • Build strong relationships with professors, encouraging platform adoption within their courses and expanding usage across departments.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with product and customer success teams to deliver an exceptional experience.


Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as an Account Executive in transactional SaaS (high volume, low value); Education sector experience is a bonus.
  • Proven ability to consistently exceed quotas.
  • A hunter mentality with strong closing skills and an aptitude for nurturing long-term accounts.
  • Exceptional communication, objection-handling, and negotiation abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills, adaptability, and proficiency with CRM tools like HubSpot.
  • Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of two years in higher education.


Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with sales processes in educational technology.
  • Experience in managing hybrid sales models.
