Your Opportunity

Our Ottawa office is looking for a Bilingual Intermediate Administrative Assistant to join the Advisory team and own the following responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to a group of Partners including all incoming and outgoing communications, as well as calendar management and act as the gatekeeper for all external and internal contacts
  • Ensure all documents and deliverables are properly edited prior to being sent to clients
  • Provide coverage for other support staff during vacations, illness and other absenteeism as requested by the Admin manager
  • Serve as point of contact for clients to address issues related to billing and document travel
  • Assist client invoices, databases and meeting coordination
  • Assist with billing, collections and processing of A/R and A/P
  • Assist workflow software/systems including tracking and reporting
  • Assist with Partner expense reports
  • Client interaction to support information requests and followups
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Your experience and education

  • You have 2 years of working experience in an Administrative or similar role
  • You have an Office Administration diploma or other relevant education
  • You are fully bilingual with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English
  • Prior working experience at a professional services firm is considered a strong asset
  • You have thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office computer programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • You have the ability to prioritize workload and the flexibility to manage multiple tasks
  • You have the ability to work in a deadlinedriven work setting and deal with confidential information
  • You have strong problem solving, analytical and communication skills both written and oral
  • You value teamwork, client service and quality in detailed work
