Intermediate Bilingual Property Field Claims Adjuster, Hybrid

Xpera is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Intermediate Bilingual Property Field Claims Adjuster, Hybrid to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our claims process.
Key Responsibilities- Claims Investigation and Resolution: Conduct thorough investigations into property claims, identify causes and report to clients with solid recommendations.
- Communication and Customer Service: Provide high-level customer service to clients and insureds, ensuring prompt contact and follow-up with policyholders and claimants.
- Damage Assessment and Quantum: Use supplied technology to scope and establish the quantum of damages, identify exposures, and recommend reserves.
- Settlement Negotiation and Administration: Negotiate fair and satisfactory settlements, prepare action plans, and manage conflicting priorities in an effective manner.
- Team Collaboration and Support: Participate in after-hours customer service requirements, share ownership and responsibility for team goals, and contribute to a positive and proactive team environment.
- Education and Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience in desktop or field claims adjusting, with a strong background in property claims.
- Skills and Competencies: Proactive and positive approach to customer service, effective analytical skills, ability to interpret complex documents, and strong interpersonal skills.
- Licenses and Designations: Adjuster's license or currently pursuing CIP designation, with bilingualism (fluency in French and English) being an asset.
