Payroll Coordinator. This is a permanent, full-time position located in

PEI or NS. The role is Onsite with potential of a Hybrid work arrangement.

  • Verifying payroll information in Time Management system for hourly/salaried
- employees and following up with supervisors for any irregularities.

  • Ensuring the accuracy of preliminary payroll reports, timesheets, and other payroll data.
  • Processing biweekly payroll for all salaried and hourly employees on time while
  • Compiling payroll data such as garnishments, vacation time, insurance, and other
- deductions.

  • Administering the Time Management system including enrollments, scheduling,
- terminations etc.

  • Creating required internal management reports from the HRIS program.
  • Responding to employee and government agency inquiries regarding to payroll.
  • Creating and submitting monthly remittances including pension, Group Insurance, WCB, et.
  • Adhering to BIOVECTRA's Health and Safety Policy as outlined in CP0010 Occupational
  • Health and Safety Policy, Statements of Principle, and Responsibilities and all Purchasing
  • SOP's.
  • Additional duties assigned, based on business needs and the department supervisor's request.
  • Post-Secondary Education
  • University degree is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Payroll and HR practices as well as current employment law.
  • Experience in product implementation would be an asset.
  • Experience process payroll within an HRIS system would be an asset.

Entry:
$48,516 Annually, salary will be based upon experience.
