Job Summary


Reporting to the Manager, Human Resources, the HR Assistant, is responsible to perform administrative tasks and services related to recruitment, onboarding, and HR documentation that supports effective and efficient operations of the Jatec's HR department.

This position requires extensive data entry, communication, collaboration, and administrative support skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains accurate and uptodate human resource files, records, and documentation
  • Assisting with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties
  • Support all internal and external HRrelated inquiries or requests.
  • Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events and maintain agendas.
  • Perform orientations, onboarding, and update records of incoming staff.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Required:

  • 1 year' work experience in similar role, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Advanced computer skills, particularly use of Excel, and other Microsoft Office programs
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities
  • Excellent organizational, attention to detail, and communication skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with professionalism
  • Comprehensive understanding of HR functions and best practices
  • Currently completing HR Degree/Diploma or new graduate
  • CPHR designation or pursuit of designation a definite asset
  • Experience with Viewpoint an asset
