Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Administrator/Co-op Student to join our team at Spartan Controls Ltd. The successful candidate will provide administrative support and assistance with various tasks within the Human Resources department.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with recruitment activities, including job posting development, interview scheduling, and candidate screening.
• Support the new hire onboarding process by sending welcome packages, collecting onboarding documents, and preparing new hire orientations.
• Respond to employee inquiries in a timely manner and provide general administrative support.
• Assist in coordinating HR-related events, such as career fairs and leadership conferences.
Requirements
• Currently enrolled in post-secondary studies related to Human Resources, Business, Commerce, or equivalent.
• Some experience working in HR or related coursework is preferred.
• Excellent computer skills and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational and time management skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Exhibit professionalism and confidentiality, motivated and efficient self-starter with a positive attitude, and exceptional customer service skills.
