HR COORDINATOR – TEMPORARY OPPORTUNITY

Fantastic opportunity for an HR Coordinator to join our client located one hour southeast of Calgary, for a long term temporary to possible permanent position.

The Opportunity

We are thrilled to partner our industry leading client in their search for an HR Coordinator to join the team on a temporary to possible permanent basis.Reporting directly into the HR Manager you will be responsible for the following tasks:

Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Act as main point of contact for all employees regarding HR related questions (salary, benefits, vacation, etc).
  • Data entry of employee information into Dayforce.
  • Pre-screen resumes for various departments.
  • Arrange for pre-employment testing and onboarding activies.
  • Manage employee files.
  • Additional HR & administrative tasks as directed by the HR Manager.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Post secondary Diploma or Certificate in Human Resources
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills, ability to learn new systems easily.
  • Experience using Dayforce a strong asset.
  • Experience working in a unionized environment an asset.
  • Ability to work autonomously, eager to learn and take on challenges.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Reliable with a friendly, positive personality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Reliable personal transportation is a must as location is one hour southeast of Calgary.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Hourly rate of pay will be based on experience.
