Eaton's Electrical sector is currently hiring a EVCI Sales Representative to join our team. This position is based at our Lachine, QC facility and offers benefits from Day 1.

What you'll do:

  • The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for promoting, selling, and supporting our EV Charging Infrastructure (EVCI) product line, in the province of Québec. This is a professional sales role focused on achieving sales goals, supporting channel sales efforts, and exceeding customer expectations. The Outside Sales Representative will manage all aspects of the business relationship, providing sales and technical assistance to customers, consultants, and channel. He will act as the EVCI sales lead and expert to provide internal training and support to the QC sales organization.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Achieve assigned team sales and orders goals.
  • Manage all aspects of the customer relationship within the assigned account base.
  • Implement sales plans and growth strategies to meet performance requirements
  • Promote Eaton products and services to targeted customers with the objective of optimizing sales volume, product mix, and profit margin
  • Provide technical assistance to distributors, customers and consultants.
  • Be aware of and responsive to market conditions and competitive activities; communicate such information internally and drive corrective strategies or actions
  • Maintain cooperative and credible working relationships with company personnel to assure customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare sales proposals and value propositions based on customer needs and expectations
  • Develop bid strategies and quotations for customers using price and delivery guidelines and use sound business judgment to enhance volume and margins.
  • Implement new product programs as needed.
  • Work closely with product and marketing teams to understand customer needs and market trends and provide feedback.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the EV charging industry such as residential developers, fleet managers, OEMs, utilities, and other industry influencers.
  • Provide EVCI technical assistance and training both internally and externally to customers, consultants, and channel.
  • Prepare sales presentations to create product/service/solution understanding and awareness.
  • Prepare monthly sales forecast and operations report based on negotiation activity and customer feedback.
  • Perform all job functions with adherence to Eaton's Philosophy and Values as well as Safety and Environmental standards.

Qualifications:

Required Basic Qualifications:

  • University degree or College diploma in the electrical or related discipline CET designation or working towards.
  • Minimum of 3 years of outside sales experience
  • Good knowledge of EVCI products and LV electrical distribution.
  • Bilingual, French and English, written and spoken
  • Possess a valid driver's licence
  • Be legally authorized to work in Canada without corporate sponsorship
  • No relocation allowance is available for this position

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5 years Technical sales experience or equivalent

  • Demonstrated competency in contributing to the success of the team.
