Location:

Reports to:
Director, Human Resources

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Delivering endtoend talent acquisition support to Business Units for salaried and hourly employees
  • Providing generalist HR support and guidance to managers and employees as needed
  • Coordinating campus recruitment across all Business Units including leading goal setting process for annual intern/new graduate hires, recruitment and onboarding, career fairs, campus visits, student events etc.
  • Participate in reviewing business needs and in developing plans to fill vacancies with top talent
  • Actively research market and industry trends and events to effectively utilize them as tools for talent acquisition

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Excellent communication abilities, encompassing verbal, written, and active listening skills
  • Ability to see the big picture, adapt to shifting priorities as well as effectively handle daytoday details and tasks
  • Enthusiastic team player who thrives on fostering strong relationships while collaborating with stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Commerce, Marketing, or related field with 5+ years' HR/Talent Acquisition experience
  • Experience with online recruiting platforms i.e., LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.
  • Ability and experience working with various Business Units and handling multiple requisitions concurrently
  • Recruiting experience in the construction industry an asset
  • Experience in campus recruitment an asset
  • Generalist HR or Talent Management experience an asset
  • Requires some travel between Western Canada locations
