PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:


Are you a student or new graduate with a passion for data and leveraging data to tell a story and improve process? If so, our Talent Acquisition team is looking for a tech savvy student or new grad to assist in developing analytical tools that enable data driven decision making.

The Analyst Talent Acquisition will play a vital role in supporting the development of CPKC's diverse workforce, through data collection, analysis and process improvement.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with expert Excel skills and experience implementing new technologies like artificial intelligence.

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Support the development and maintenance of reports and dashboards, to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to talent acquisition
  • Identify improvements in Talent Acquisition reporting/metrics and provide regular updates to the leadership team
  • Collaborate with information services teams to leverage technology solutions for improving the efficiency of the recruitment process, including automation of certain tasks and integration with HR systems
  • Analyze and make recommendations for Talent Acquisition process improvement through automation
  • Conduct regular audits of recruitment data to ensure accuracy, identifying and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Support the continuous improvement of talent acquisition processes and strategies
  • Maintain confidentiality of all documents and data generated

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Pursuing a degree in business, computer science or HR/HRIS
  • Certification in HR analytics an asset
  • Expert level Excel and advanced MS Office Suite (Word, PPT, Outlook, etc.)
  • Experience with Success Factors and SAP an asset
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools and the ability to derive meaningful insights from metrics
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proactive and selfmotivated with the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to the overall success of the talent acquisition team
