We are currently recruiting for a HR Generalist
This is a full time and permanent position.

Position Overview

Job Duties

_Employee and Management HR Support:
_


  • Respond to internal and external Human Resources related inquiries from staff, department managers, and other parties.
  • Help to ensure organization wide compliance with policies, procedures and applicable regulations.

_Recruitment_

  • In collaboration with supervising managers, be actively involved in the recruitment of new employees, including postings, interviews, selection, and the offer process.
  • Create & implement effective onboarding plans with hiring managers.

_Administration_

Benefits: Administer the company's employee benefits programs, including communications with 3rd party service providers and employees.

Payroll:Process payroll in conjunction with our managed payroll service on a bi-monthly basis to ensure an accurate and timely payroll for all employees

Record Keeping & Reporting: Report to senior management on key metrics and the status of initiatives at regularly scheduled intervals; generate and maintain employee records. Draft general forms, letters, reports, and memos as necessary

_Company Culture_

  • Use surveys and other methods to assist management in monitoring employee morale and engagement.
  • Analyze HR data to identify trends that can assist management with HR and culture initiatives.
Other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • A postsecondary degree or diploma in Human Resources or a related field.
  • 13 years of progressive HR work experience in a generalist capacity preferred.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms and applicant tracking systems
  • Payroll or payroll processing experience preferred.
  • A CPHR designation or actively working towards the designation will be considered an asset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • A customer service focused mindset.
