We are currently expanding our team and are looking for an experiencedHR Coordinator.
Responsibilities and Expectations:
- Manage and coordinate various HR projects and initiatives
- Coordinate recruitment efforts by posting job openings, proactively searching for talent, reviewing resumes, and conducting initial screenings and interviews
- Facilitate smooth onboarding for new hires and manage offboarding processes for departing employees
- Plan and coordinate company events and activities
- Address employee questions and concerns, fostering a positive work environment
- Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to staff
- Assist in the development and implementation of training programs
- Keep track of staff birthdays, and vacations, and manage time off requests
- Update and maintain the company's policy manual
- Support payroll processes and assist in the administration of employee benefits
- Ensure compliance with all Canadian HR regulations and company policies
Qualifications:
- A degree or a diploma in Human Resources or a related field is considered an asset
- Proven experience in the HR field in Canada (min. 1-2 years)
- HR experience in the accounting field is an asset
- Strong communication skills for interacting with employees at all levels
- Knowledge of employee relations best practices and conflict resolution
- Positive, outgoing personality with a team-oriented mindset
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Strong problem-solving skills
