We are currently expanding our team and are looking for an experiencedHR Coordinator.

Responsibilities and Expectations:

  • Manage and coordinate various HR projects and initiatives
  • Coordinate recruitment efforts by posting job openings, proactively searching for talent, reviewing resumes, and conducting initial screenings and interviews
  • Facilitate smooth onboarding for new hires and manage offboarding processes for departing employees
  • Plan and coordinate company events and activities
  • Address employee questions and concerns, fostering a positive work environment
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to staff
  • Assist in the development and implementation of training programs
  • Keep track of staff birthdays, and vacations, and manage time off requests
  • Update and maintain the company's policy manual
  • Support payroll processes and assist in the administration of employee benefits
  • Ensure compliance with all Canadian HR regulations and company policies

Qualifications:

  • A degree or a diploma in Human Resources or a related field is considered an asset
  • Proven experience in the HR field in Canada (min. 1-2 years)
  • HR experience in the accounting field is an asset
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with employees at all levels
  • Knowledge of employee relations best practices and conflict resolution
  • Positive, outgoing personality with a team-oriented mindset
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Strong problem-solving skills
