WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR


We're looking for a Manager, Product Marketing - Global, who will manage end-to end new product launches, in close partnership with cross-functional teams, and assist with developing a product portfolio and pipeline to support Brand's strategic direction, in partnership with our Scientific team.

This is a hybrid role based out of our
Toronto office.

WHAT YOU'D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE

  • Conduct indepth market & competitive analysis to determine opportunity and develop unique product proposition. Identify white space based on product architecture opportunities, market trends, subcategory evolution. Leverage findings from consumer insights, social listening, CRM data, sales.
  • Partner with Scientific team on new product concept, positioning and claims.
  • Help build and present business cases for all new products, inclusive of market landscape, pricing, cost of goods, and forecasts in collaboration with scientific & sales planning.
  • Work hand in hand throughout development with Scientific Communications, Clinical and Legal, including follow through of testing required to reinforce and differentiate consumerfacing claims.
  • Create packaging briefs and partner with Packaging team to define scope and scenarios for each product launch. Manage marketing section of artwork
- identify product name, romance copy and work with regulatory on various options. Lead artwork reviews for Marketing.

  • Garner deep understanding of marketplace, inclusive of competitor dynamics, consumer needs and global trends, and make recommendations to seize market based on analysis. Remain relentlessly uptodate on emerging and future trends across all relevant industries to identify and grow business opportunities.
  • Manage transversal projects as needed (pricing analysis, subcategory analysis, portfolio rationalization, gotomarket accelerated programs, etc.).
  • Cultivate close collaborative relationships with regional teams. Gather feedback on global programs to ensure local relevance. Ensure key updates are communicated.
  • Support with the sustainability and social impact team and diversity, equity & inclusion team regularly to incorporate our approach into aspects of work.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE

  • 3+ years experience in a similar product marketing and development role, ideally within the skincare or beauty space
  • Proactive, selfstarter with exceptional organizational skills, strong project management and ability to followthrough on details.
  • At ease in a fastpaced environment, with a cando attitude. Adaptable through change.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Natural affinity for problem solving with a solutionoriented mindset.
