Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Form Setter to join our team.

As a Concrete Form Setter, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks related to concrete installation and maintenance.

This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to work with heavy materials and operate power tools.

Responsibilities:

*Assist with concrete forming and pouring
*Prepare worksites by cleaning, leveling, and setting up necessary equipment
*Operate power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and finish concrete
*Assist with the installation of rebar and other reinforcement materials
*Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment as needed
*Operate heavy machinery such as concrete mixers or pumps under supervision
*Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

*Forming concrete curbs and sidewalk

*Retaining walls / steps/ flatwork

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in concrete forming
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in concrete
  • Able to read blue prints
  • Experience in concrete forming and installation
  • Proficient in operating power tools and hand tools
  • Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical labor for extended periods of time
  • Familiarity with carpentry techniques for constructing forms
  • Knowledge of welding techniques for reinforcing structures is a plus
