Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Concrete Finishing Specialist to join our team at PARADISE CONSTRUCTION INC.. This role involves working with concrete to ensure high-quality finishes and structural integrity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Material Assessment: Evaluate formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials to ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Concrete Placement: Oversee the direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces, adhering to specified grades.
  • Surface Preparation: Fill hollows and eliminate imperfections on freshly poured concrete.
  • Finishing Techniques: Level and finish top surfaces of concrete according to precise grade and depth requirements.
  • Safety Compliance: Work safely at heights, utilizing scaffolding or swing stages as necessary.
  • Surface Treatment: Apply desired finishes to concrete surfaces using both hand and power tools.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and instruction to apprentices in the field.
  • Installation: Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures as required.
  • Curing Processes: Apply hardening and sealing components to properly cure surfaces.
  • Maintenance: Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience is preferred.

  • Transportation: A valid driver's license is necessary for this position.
  • Work Schedule: This role requires a commitment of 40 hours per week.
