Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Concrete Finishing Specialist to join our team at PARADISE CONSTRUCTION INC.. This role involves a variety of tasks related to the finishing of concrete surfaces, ensuring high-quality results in all projects.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: Candidates should have between 1 to 7 months of relevant experience in concrete finishing.
Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Oversee the placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to specified grades.
  • Address imperfections in freshly poured concrete by filling hollows and removing spots.
  • Level the top surface of concrete to meet grade and depth specifications.
  • Perform tasks at heights, utilizing scaffolding or swing stages as necessary.
  • Achieve the desired finish on concrete surfaces using both hand and power tools.
  • Provide instruction and guidance to apprentices in the field.
  • Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other necessary fixtures.
  • Apply hardening and sealing agents to ensure proper curing of surfaces.
  • Repair, resurface, and replace sections of concrete structures that are worn or damaged.

  • Transportation/Travel: A valid driver's license is required.
