Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at Paradise Construction Inc. as a key member of our construction crew.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Prepare Work Sites: Inspect formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Concrete Placement and Finishing: Supervise the placement of concrete into forms or surfaces based on specified grades and smooth out imperfections and fill voids in freshly poured cement.
  • Surface Preparation and Finishing: Ensure the top surface of concrete is level as per grade and depth requirements, and achieve the desired finish on concrete surfaces using various tools.
  • Installation and Repair: Install anchor bolts, steel plates, and other fixtures as needed, and undertake repair and replacement of damaged sections in concrete structures.
  • Guidance and Support: Provide guidance to apprentices and ensure they receive the necessary training and support to excel in their roles.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
  • Language: English
  • Transportation: Must possess a valid driver's license
