Job Summary:

What you'll be doing:

  • Manage Central 1's central contract database system for goods and services agreements and associated file systems.
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy, as well as training Procurement staff with inputting accurate contract data, related documents, and related communication into contracts system; coach and mentor team members.
  • Take a lead role in ensuring timely contract and amendment reviews, and contract execution.
  • Recommend contractual strategies for successful execution of planned activities to maximize efficiency and cost savings.
  • Work with Procurement, internal clients, and suppliers with contract terminations, extensions, or identifying required bid processes.
  • Interact with a diverse internal client base, review and understand proposed activity and provide recommendations and advice to determine the appropriate form of contract, and inclusion of specialized terms and conditions.
  • Issue or make available reports to executives and leaders on contract data including contract KPIs
  • In collaboration with the legal team, initiate and maintain contract templates, and standards and processes for contract management and supplier performance management.
  • Support the Sourcing team in bid preparation with respect to inclusion of applicable contract templates or terms and conditions.
  • Provide assistance to high value and/or highrisk projects and other areas as required.
  • Support the Director, Procurement with Central 1 wideinitiatives, and programs.
  • Work in a dynamic environment with a focus on being agile and flexible to the growing and changing needs of stakeholders across the organization.
  • Ability to see the big picture and to lead stakeholders through transformation in support of the overall delivery of strategic outcomes.
  • Influence and drive the changes across multiple hierarchy levels.
  • Drive efficiencies and cost savings.

What you'll have:

  • 8 years of relevant experience
  • 5+ years in working in a complex and diverse environment managing complex contracts and services agreements and 5+ years of experience leading contract administration
  • College diploma or bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Procurement, or law/legal related studies
  • Professional certification including one of Supply Chain certification or SCMP designation
  • Experience in financial services and information technology an asset.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Excellent knowledge of English language, verbal and written.
