about the role


This role will oversee and manage the relationships and agreements with our agency vendors for contingent temporary staffing supporting our Distribution Centers across North America.

This role will be responsible for reducing spend and improving performance as we shift into a more robust model for in-house Talent Acquisition.

You will be responsible for ensuring vendor performance and contract negotiations in partnership with Procurement and alignment of our hiring goals, DEI commitments and scalable hiring targets.

a day in the life

  • This role is responsible for daytoday operational vendor engagement activities and vendor performance management for the North America Distribution Centers and possible future expansion to other lululemon business functions.
  • Workforce planning and strategy for peak and nonpeak high volume hourly hiring.
  • Monitoring and extrapolation of approved roles including hiring metrics and market analysis.
  • Work in partnership with People and Culture Leaders, DC Leaders, Learning & Leadership, IDEA to align on hiring process, policies and our global commitments.
  • Oversee and monitor performance management for 12+ vendor partnerships across North America with potential to move into Retail, GEC, Tech, Supply Chain and even globally.
  • Work closely with Procurement team, Legal and People and Practices to outline process and procedures across North America.
  • Work closely with Finance, Vice President of Global Logistics and Talent Acquisition for forecasting, cost savings, market analysis and industry trends.
  • Accurate reporting for metrics and QBR's with vendor scoring is required for this role.
  • Travel is required quarterly for vendor partnership meetings and industry conferences pertaining to our line of work.
qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in high volume recruitment in Logistics/Warehouse industry is preferred.
  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in a people leadership role leading talent acquisition is preferred.
  • Minimum 5+ years in agency recruitment with ability to negotiate national contracts including RFP, MSP, SOW, RPO for global level is required.
  • Should be able to manage performance of all vendors in alignment with our Distribution Centers to ensure targets and global commitments are always met.
  • Strong background in partnering with Senior Leadership and strong presentation skills is required.
  • Excellent knowledge of vendors, talent tools and market industry trends is required.
  • Should be able to handle escalations pertaining to Employee Relation Matters in partnership with People and Practices, People and Culture and Legal.
