We are hiring for a Territory Sales Manager who will help us strengthen our customer relationships and continue our growth trajectory.


What you will be doing
The Territory Sales Manager has a passion for helping customers.

They are constantly focused on delivering only quality sales service while self-prioritizing responsibilities and tasks to maintain a profitable and productive sales pipeline.

They rely on their solid understanding of the B2B/capital expenditure sales process and communicate effectively and professionally. They efficiently utilize sales enablement tools, including Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office products.

  • Multi-Province territory assignment and responsibility for a significant number of products and customers.
  • Partner closely with Komptech Americas' existing sales team to maximize sales and promote market expansion.
  • Increase sales to endusers by emphasizing technical advantages over competitor products.
  • Facilitate stationary equipment sales while working closely with sales engineers and project managers.
  • Develop strategies and tactical plans to achieve regional sales targets quarterly and annually.
  • Analyze market data to identify new or expanded areas of business opportunity.
  • Provide firstline product and customer support to become the main liaison between Komptech and the customer.
  • Work with existing customers to enable ongoing preventative maintenance inspections and equipment training.
  • Utilize Salesforce CRM and other software tools to streamline the sales process, enable accurate reporting and improve customer support.
  • Supply ongoing technical information and advice on Komptech product portfolio to customers.
  • Effectively communicate customer needs, activities, opportunities, market needs and other relevant information to Senior Area Sales Manager and team on a consistent basis.
  • Prepare and conduct promotional and marketing activities to support sales and customer support efforts.
  • Extensive travel through Alberta, Sastetechwan, and Manitoba

What you will need to succeed

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business from an accredited institution is preferred.
  • Energetic, highly motivated personality and organized team player able to easily form professional relationships.
  • Formal sales training is preferred.
  • Computer skills are required.
  • Handson technical aptitude preferred
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to confidently convey information to both technically trained and nontechnical customers.
  • Professional presentation skills suited to present Komptech solutions and product differentiation effectively at various customer organizational levels.
  • Highlevel interpersonal skills sufficient to guide and negotiate with potential customers toward recommended product solutions.
  • Selfmotivated, selfdirected, and selfmanaged with excellent organizational and time management skills to perform productively with mínimal supervision.
  • Inherent perseverance to consistently engage and follow up with open leads to convert and close them into won sales opportunities.
  • Demonstrated achievement in sales, business development or product management.
  • Ability to research and absorb new, unfamiliar industry and product information with the ability to convert it verbally and visually into effective sales information or presentations that engage customers in our brand voice.
