What's involved in this role

  • Achieving annual sales and profit budgets
  • Monthly and annual forecasting management
  • Develop account/category specific business plans to meet marketing and sales objectives consistent with the Organization' strategic orientation.
  • Provide a high level of analysis and organization in leading Contract and price increase negotiation
  • Coordinate marketing programs and negotiate business arrangements in an attempt to meet target objectives
  • Develop and present monthly business and investment reviews, identifying variance to forecast and needed recommendations that provide mutual benefit
  • Take part in developing sales and investment objectives by product category (budgets, volumes, costs)
  • Identify strategic opportunities that highlight competitive advantage through offering added value in products and services (including distribution, billing, price list consolidation, EDI, etc.)
  • Continuously perform postaudits on negotiation mandates and recommendations
  • Work within the framework of established budgets and continually take advantage of opportunities for improving the effectiveness and efficiency of sales expenses

'‹ What you need to join our team**- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business Administration or in a related discipline

  • Minimum of 45 years of business development experience (preferably in the consumer packaged goods industry)
  • Strong understanding of Food Service and Distributors, marketing business principles, competitive trends and P&L management is required
  • Excellent knowledge of English (Spoken and Written)
  • Sound command of standard computer programs (Word, Excel, Power Point etc.);
  • Good understanding of French (Spoken and Written)
  • An asset.
  • Position requires travel to see customers and internal meetings
