The Manager, Performance Management & Insights is responsible for leading a group of diverse, Business Insights & Analytics Specialists, taking an integrated approach to build relationships with operations leaders and internal partners.


Reporting to the director of New Services & Operations Enablement, we are seeking a dynamic leader with experience in building, evolving, and establishing operational capabilities to organize data, establish KPIs, develop and disseminate management reporting and proactively generate actionable insights.


This leader will build a team to influence and collaboratively partner with operational leaders to identify opportunities to enhance employee performance and measure the impact of change across all of LifeLabs diverse operations.

Leveraging analytical tools and technology this team will enable ad hoc insight development, project support, and create self-serve tools for the multi-functional operations team.

Additionally, this leader will have a key role in budget optimization, performance benchmarking, and supporting the execution of continuous improvement plans.


Core Accountabilities

  • Develop and sustain an operational competency to report and disseminate critical KPIs to Operations leaders, providing them with datadriven insights to inform business decisions.
  • Create comprehensive reports, selfserve tools and operational health dashboards for Ops Leaders, ELT and Boardlevel executives, ensuring they have the most accurate and relevant data at their fingertips.
  • Use data and insights to facilitate effective business management, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
  • Support business case development and change measurement
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency in the data used for analysis and decisionmaking
  • Design and partner with operations leaders to execute continuous improvement plans. These plans should aim to reduce cost per customer interaction while simultaneously improving customer satisfaction.
  • Drive budget optimization by working closely with the Finance and Operations departments. Establish and meet 15 year budget efficiency targets to ensure fiscal responsibility and efficiency.
  • Minimize budget variances by continuously monitoring financial performance and providing recommendations to operations to adjust strategies as necessary.
  • Use data and insights to identify areas where efficiency can be improved, and resources can be better utilized.
  • Build a highperformance culture that is inclusive and rewarding
  • Implement a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops, and motivates your team fostering engagement, diversity of thought and open communication

Minimum Hiring Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years leading experience in a similar role, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
  • Experience working with various query languages such as SQL, Python, PowerBI to create new datasets based on unique joins required to report or answer specific questions for the business
  • Related knowledge of building complex, integral dashboards that create a seamless, world class user experience,
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing KPIs, as well as utilizing data to drive decisionmaking.
  • Demonstrated ability to work crossfunctionally and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex data to nontechnical audiences.
  • Strong change management experience
  • Excellent business acumen, strategic thinking, decision making, and problemsolving skills.
