What you'll do:

The role of Jumpstart Program Operations Student plays a critical part in the day-to-day operations of the Charity.

Performing key daily administrative tasks and supporting interesting and challenging sport related projects, this role is imperative to the Community Granting team.


  • Support the maintenance of an inbox for parent/grantee inquires.
  • Research, analysis and provide recommendations for internal process improvement and/or enhancements based on industry best practices.
  • Lead projects to support the current and future state of the charity (including work supporting inclusive play and gender equity)
  • Presentation development support
  • Help Operations and Program team maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Deliver administrative and operational support across the charity as required.

What you bring:

  • Currently enrolled in a postsecondary program in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or other related discipline
  • Background in Sport & Recreation an asset
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexible and dynamic individual who is able to adjust and prioritize accordingly to adapt to business demands and requirements, in a deadlineoriented environment
  • Ability to work independently, be a team player, and demonstrate highly developed interpersonal communication skills
  • Bilingualism an asset
