This is a temporary three (3) month opportunity, with an imminent start date of April 9, 2024.


Reporting to the Manager, Human Resources, the Human Resources Assistant will be accountable to provide clerical support for Human Resource Services.

Specifically, they will be supporting the recruitment functions in close collaboration with the Human Resources Business Partner.

This role will focus closely on aspects such as drafting job offers, conducting initial interview screenings, and supporting a seamless hiring process in a fast-paced working environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum two (2) year College Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
  • Experience and formal training combined with demonstrated performance and ability may substitute for stipulated academic requirements
  • Minimum of one (1) year related work experience supporting human resource functions and performing similar administrative duties
  • Clientservice orientated individual with demonstrated ability to thrive in a highpaced, demanding working environment
  • Working knowledge of labour legislation and collective agreement interpretation
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities; while maintaining a strong client service focus and keen attention to detail and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive situations with diplomacy, patience and confidentiality
  • Proven ability to work independently and effectively with mínimal supervision
  • Embodies the LEAN ideology by actively and continually seeking opportunities for continuous improvement.

PREFERRED:

  • Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation completed or in progress
  • Heath care experience
  • Must have demonstrated ability to meet the attendance standards of the Hospital
  • Bilingualism is an asset
