Finance Lead Summary


Lions Digital Solutions is looking for a Finance Lead to join our rapidly growing company You will be responsible for working directly with the COO in building out our lending operation, owning the company's budget and financial planning processes, performing financial analyses across the company, and providing guidance for us to effectively allocate resources.

We are looking for a smart, driven individual who has a keen sense of ownership, is adaptive to a fast-changing environment, and possesses a high level of curiosity for learning our business and our products.

This person can think critically and quickly take over accounting issues for our growing group of companies and will work as a crucial link between partners and accounting staff.


  • In office 100% expected for 6 months. After 6 months, up to 2 days of remote work per week is permitted._

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Partner with the COO to set the strategic direction of the business and ensure the company meets or exceeds revenue, margin, profitability, and cash flow goals
  • Hire and manage members of the finance department.
  • Build and maintain our financial model and forecasts to guide longterm financial strength by advising on growth, hiring, spending, and strategic projects
  • Implement and maintain bestinclass financial reporting processes; help streamline month
- close processes via automation, identifying efficiencies and standardization

  • Create a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting structure
  • Prepare timely and accurate analyses, summaries, and reports of financial data on the operating progress of the company, including analysis relative to historical trends, budgets, and forecasts
  • Drive future fundraising activities and scale up a portfolio of debt providers to secure reliable, diversified growth financing

Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in: FP&A, Corporate Development, Investment Banking, Private
  • Equity or a similar role. CPA and/or lending experience is preferred.
  • Experience with accounting software like QuickBooks.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Team, and Outlook.
  • Deep knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Compliance of US and Canada experience.
  • Experience with Digital Marketing finance data is a huge plus.
  • Ability to work with mínimal upfront guidance and the ability to take ownership of the work product.
