Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to support our Finance team. As a Finance intern, you will be responsible for analyzing data, preparing tax filings, and completing internal control projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial data using analytical software and an ERP system
  • Prepare tax filings using tax preparation software
  • Support internal control projects
  • Complete Statistics Canada reports

Requirements

We are looking for students with a strong foundation in Finance and a keen interest in putting their knowledge into practice. You should possess the following attributes:

  • Ability to communicate effectively and work under tight deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to think critically and not afraid to ask questions
  • Proficiency in Excel and Word
  • Curiosity about public company accounting

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business, preferably in 3rd or 4th year

Work Environment

As a Finance intern, you will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a team of experienced professionals. You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in a real-world setting.

Compensation

  • $21/hour
  • Commuting reimbursement
