Job Summary:
Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a Senior Manager, Corporate Finance to join the Financial Planning Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading all corporate financing functions and business partnership development for the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial planning and reporting processes to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
- Collaborate with senior executives and other stakeholders to develop and implement business strategies and initiatives.
- Provide financial guidance and support to business units and departments to ensure effective financial management.
- Manage and analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including banks and other financial institutions.
Requirements:
- Completion of a recognized professional accounting designation (CPA, CA, CMA, or MBA).
- A minimum of ten (10) years of recent related experience in a progressively senior financial planning capacity in a large, complex healthcare environment.
- Demonstrated ability to strategically and creatively solve complex problems within a dynamic and changing environment.
- Results-oriented with a high-pressure working environment and numerous critical timelines.
- Proven negotiation and mediation skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Financial planning and reporting, cost accounting, and financing expertise.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Leadership, management, and supervisory experience with a strong business acumen.
