We're building a global specialty solutions leader.

Today Intact Global Specialty Lines is over $5 Billion annual written premium and we're on a path to $10 Billion by 2030.

Specialty insurance is about focus on and deep knowledge of a unique customer segment or product niche.

Each of our verticals is managed by an experienced team of specialty insurance professionals who draw on their expertise to provide a broad range of solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of each customer.


In Canada, Intact Specialty Solutions has several verticals which include: commercial and contract surety; trade credit; energy & renewables; entertainment; specialty & excess property; financial institutions; financial services; transportation; construction; equipment breakdown; farm; programs; management liability and professional lines; ocean marine; and technology.


What you'll do here:

  • Develop a deep understanding of our business and our appetite
  • Build strong internal relationships with a focus on our underwriting, risk control, claims teams.
  • Built exceptional business relationships with the brokerage channel and the brokerage firms under your responsibility.
  • Drive opportunities and support Specialty Verticals (Business Units) through the development and implementation of a plan to achieve growth objectives
  • Optimize Distribution by deepening our existing relationships, and expanding the reach of our distribution channel
  • Enhance Intact's brand leadership by driving greater awareness of Specialty Solutions capabilities, products, and services; including work closely with Specialty Solutions Marketing and Communications
  • Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of our marketplace, industry, and the environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to driving high engagement across all teams
  • Participate in the development of the premium budget for your territory.
  • Represent Specialty Solutions and your Region on various internal committees and advise other areas of the company (Actuarial, Finance, HR, and other departments).

  • Valid class 5 driver's license with good driving record
