Role Responsibilities:
- Run weekly status meetings, efficiently walking client and internal teams through the project's activities since last status
- Keep action logs and project plan up to date and organized
- Draft detailed but succinct meeting minutes capturing key decisions and actions covered during the weekly status
- Draft detailed Executive Status reports monthly for key Executive Stakeholders
- Assist in monitoring project budget/finance against estimates and updating stakeholders on revised projections during Executive Status
- Generate and review monthly invoice statements prior to client delivery ensuring completeness and accuracy
- Perform the role of Scrum Master on one of our agile development teams
- Develop and contribute to our project management process and procedures
Qualifications:
- 13 years experience in project coordination, project management, marketing management or related position
- Completion of postsecondary education in business or related field
- Passion for working with people and helping them succeed
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Exception written and oral communications skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Comfortable delegating throughout the organization
- Selfstarter with the ability to thrive in a fast paced, everchanging environment
- Analytical, business minded and resourceful
- Ability to bridge the gap between business and technical professionals
Nice to have skills and/or qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) designation
- Experience in an Agile environment or Scrum Master certification
- Experience at an Insurance Company or at a vendor in the insurance industry
- Experience at a software company
- Experience with JIRA and Microsoft Project
