Administrative Assistant at F.H. Black & Company

We are looking for a dynamic professional with a solid work ethic to be part of our team. The chosen candidate will offer complex and confidential administrative support to the entire organization, reporting to the Director of Public Practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle financial statement printing, file assembly, mailing checks, data entry, and invoicing;
  • Perform typing, filing, and general administrative tasks;
  • Communicate with clients daily, assisting them with requests;
  • Maintain filing systems, address office equipment issues, and solve general building-related problems;
  • Establish and coordinate administrative policies and procedures to enhance firm functionality;
  • Prepare agendas and coordinate client meetings;
  • Compile and send memos, letters, and confidential documents;
  • Assist with event planning and occasional purchasing;
  • Manage reception duties and handle administrative projects.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of administrative experience;
  • Experience in an accounting or professional services firm preferred;
  • Ability to work flexible hours when needed;
  • Strong written skills for professional documents;
  • Excellent multitasking and deadline management;
  • Competent, self-starting, and energetic individual;
  • Proficiency in MS Office and strong typing skills;
  • Experience with office equipment and computer software programs;
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn;
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle required;
  • Ability to pass a Criminal Record Check.
