The Long-term Care Coordinator (LtCC) is responsible for the coordination of day to day operations and quality individual care within a designated clinical area.
The LtCC supervises as well as serves as a role model and a resource to staff for clinical decision-making, clinical assessments of individuals and in the counseling and education of families.
This position reviews, analyses and makes recommendations on the development of administrative systems such as policies, procedures and standards of individual care, adequate staffing levels, and a continuous quality improvement environment.
The duties include liaising with the interdisciplinary team for identification, coordination and efficient utilization of resources as well as plans for staff educational needs.

Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
