The Company is looking for motivated team player to join our construction team as the Office Administrator for an up-and-coming remote installation and modular construction company.
The Company oversees several construction projects at any given time with our core focus being modular construction in the workforce accommodation industry.
The Office Administrator reports to the Project Manager and oversees and implements administrative procedures, establish work priorities, conduct analyses of administrative operations and coordinates the acquisition of administrative services such as supplies and services.
Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school is required
- A university degree or college diploma in business administration preferred
- Experience in a senior clerical or executive secretarial position related to office administration
- Project and/or construction management experience an asset
- 2 plus years of experience in a similar role
Responsibilities:
Office Administration
- Front office activities including managing deliveries, answering phone calls, maintaining office stationery and stock supplies
- Key point of contact for IT and software management
- Travel and logistics coordination, specifically flights, hotels and vehicles
- Event planning as requiredAccounting
- Overseeing accounts receivable
- Perform cheque deposits
- Manage and monitor all accounts, records, and report systems, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulation requirements
- Process payrolls for approximately 10 employees
- Reconcile all payroll accounts to the general ledger
- Maintain employee files, records, training and update certifications
Knowledge and Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years bookkeeping, payroll and/or general accounting experience is required
