Ready for a new adventure? Passionate about research? Enjoy working with a small (but mighty) team of like-minded individuals? Thinkwell is looking for a new researcher to join our team, someone to develop with us as we grow. If this interests you, we'd love to see your CV.
Thinkwell is a boutique market research and organizational strategy firm with offices in Halifax, NS and St. John's, NL. Our success is driven by our desire to 'delight' our clients and develop insightful solutions to help their organizations and people succeed. We are looking for someone who is driven, hard-working, and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. If you like a challenge, are skilled at managing competing demands, and are keen to work with a wide range of clients across different industries this job will be a great fit for you.
As a team member, you will manage multiple projects simultaneously. Knowing how to schedule and prioritize your work and how to focus in a fast-paced environment is key. You will work collaboratively with Thinkwell team members and clients on project design and execution, but many of your daily tasks will be independent in nature and require you to self-manage your workload to meet project timelines.
In addition to standard research skills, we are looking for a critical thinker who enjoys synthesizing, analyzing, and interpreting information and data to provide clients with the evidence-based insights they need to make informed decisions.
The benefits of working with us? Lots of learning and growth opportunities, a flexible work environment, and a great team.

Data Analysis

· Basic quantitative data analysis (frequencies, descriptive stats, crosstabs)
· Interpret results and identify recommendations based on the findings
Report Writing
· Compile draft reports for both quantitative and qualitative projects in PowerPoint and Word formats
· Write for multiple audiences (e.g., government, business, public, etc.)

Qualifications
· University Degree (e.g., undergraduate honours or graduate program) or equivalent experience in a social science or research-focused field
· Minimum two years of demonstrated research experience
· Advanced knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods and analysis. Familiarity with Excel, DisplayR, SPSS, NVivo, or analysis software an asset
· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated professionalism
· Comfortable communicating with diverse groups of different sizes and backgrounds in person and virtually
· Demonstrated report writing skills
· Competent with basic computer software including Microsoft Office, Google suite, and virtual meeting software
