As a Regional oversight oeader for the Desjardins Agent Network, you actively influence the improvement of the Network's Quality and Oversight results through direct Agent interactions. In this role you lead by example. You support the execution of complex and highly strategic initiatives involving multiple sectors, including but not limited to Underwriting, Actuary, Legal, and Compliance. You help develop and recommend strategies to improve an Agents oversight, as well as address concerns and trends. As an Oversight Leader, you are a trusted partner and subject matter expert for Agents and leaders across the organization. Your work is based on facts, and you thrive on driving change. You work closely with Agents in both sharing best practices and discussing opportunities for improvement. Your ability to influence Agents stems from your natural ambassadorship and commitment to organizational priorities. More specifically, you will be required to :
  • Provide oversight of Agents to ensure Company, Regulatory and Legal expectations are met
  • Monitor trends to identify and address opportunities related to quality management activities and provide support to protect our organization and clients
  • Support specialized projects, initiatives and activities that significantly impact the organization
  • Advise Agents and partners to help position, plan, develop, execute, and monitor initiatives
  • Identify, analyze, diagnose, and address major issues and provide recommendations on next steps
  • Proactively identify Quality and Oversight findings, accompanied by recommending action items and next steps

What you bring to the table
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field

  • Leadership experience
  • Intermediate knowledge with agents facing tools, systems, and processes
  • Expert Knowledge of P&C (Personal Lines and Commercial Lines), along with the Financial Services product offerings
  • Must have a valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle
  • Available for travel in your designated region
