This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, with a competitive salary and annual incentive
package. The starting salary will be commensurate with experience. Travel within Canada will be required.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Sales Manager, Commercial Accounts, is accountable for the overall
revenue growth of BigSteelBox’s B2B (Commercial) customers. This role manages and supports a dynamic team
of 6 to 9 salespeople, including Regional Account Managers and Business Development Representatives. The
ultimate objective is to align the team's efforts with the BigSteelBox Strategic Plan, which includes sales, growth,
expense, and profit objectives, while achieving new levels of customer service, staff development, and business
excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Champion and exemplify BigSteelBox’s core values.
Provide regular one-on-one coaching sessions focused on KPI attainment, opportunity management,
and personal development.
Manage sales activity, sales data, and adoption of tools and platforms.
Assist in forecasting, goal setting, and budget management for the team.
Drive compliance with company policies and procedures.
Lead all processes related to hiring, onboarding, coaching, and team development.
Collaborate in conflict resolution with customers or staff.
Oversee budget reviews and monitor revenue, operational expenditures, and credit card statements.
Manage pricing and sales strategies in collaboration with various stakeholders.
Develop and finalize sales plans and budgets for each fiscal year in partnership with senior leadership.
Ensure timely and accurate commission payments in collaboration with the Finance team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration preferred.
5-6 years of proven outside sales and/or sales management experience
Experience managing distributed/remote teams is an asset.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other communication tools.
Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
Exceptional time management, adaptability, and change management abilities.
Excellent networking, relationship-building, and communication skills.
A collaborative, innovative, and customer-focused approach to leadership.
