Account Supervisor

In this role, you'll report into the Group Account Director across several client engagements, while keeping abreast of daily project activities. You're experienced with identifying client's business needs, working with creative and media teams to understand, define and build effective solutions that generate measurable results. This role will provide opportunity for leadership and owning the day-to-day client relationships. The ideal candidate will:Thrive in an entrepreneurial environment, be forward-thinking and solutions-orientedHave the ability to build trusting and respectful relationships with clients and internal teamsInstill confidence from all team members and clients that you can help solve a business problemDemonstrate a driver personality and also be highly-organizedAnticipate a client’s need, not waiting for them to ask the question Qualifications4+ years of experience working in an agency environment, leading and executing integrated campaignsExperience in digital and socialGenuine appreciation for ethnic marketing LeadershipOwnership of specific client projects, overall account administration, financial reportingProactively flag issues and opportunities to managerContribute to strong, trustful client relationshipsWork to build strong internal relationships Strategic ThinkingContribute to the strategic direction of accounts by participating in brainstorms, briefings and kickoffsDemonstrate a growing ability to ensure actions taking on an account are in the best interest of the client and agency success (not just responsive order-taking of client requests) Creative ChampioningHas creative evaluation skills and is capable of providing meaningful contribution to creative evaluationEnsure creative projects run smoothly and proactively develop workbacks and schedule internal reviewsCapable of developing first draft of creative and media briefs Account ManagementProactively identify process issues and flag them to team leads before they become an issueResponsible for accurate and complete financial management and reporting on accountsResponsible to ensure all account management best practices are followedIs in tune with client preferences and styles for documentation (i.e. status formats, deck builds, etc.)Leads all projects with great attention to detail, ensuring all aspects of an account and/or project are complete with rigor Manage all reporting, admin, status Collaboration + RelationshipsWork to establish a trustful, proactive relationship with clients as well as Ethnicity Matters team membersRespond and deliver client and internal requests in a service-oriented manner Skillful CommunicationHas developing presentation skills Is able to articulate a POV in a clear and persuasive manner Represents Ethnicity Matters in a professional manner to clients, partners and vendorsProactively manages their manager’s expectations on all assignments and timelines Mentoring/ DevelopmentActively manages junior team members to assign tasks and ensure they are understoodProvides learning opportunities for junior team membersAsks questions when unclearOpen and responsive to feedbackDemonstrate eagerness to learn Attitude + Culture ContributionDemonstrate positive and helpful attitudeShow that you care about Ethnicity MattersMakes meaningful contributions to agency initiatives (culture, new employee mentoring, etc.)Ethnicity Matters is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing an accessible, barrier free recruitment and selection process.
