AFIMAC Canada is seeking an experienced Payroll Coordinator/Human Resource assistant for an upcoming permanent assignment in Southwestern Ontario. Process and manage the full cycle bi-weekly payroll
# Act as primary payroll contact for all employees and Service Canada/government bodies
# Utilize HRIS and payroll software to maintain accurate records and streamline processes
# Assist in the resolution of employee relations issues by working closely with other HR team members
# Complete WSIB monthly premium reporting, year-end audit requirements, and process T4 information
# Support HR initiatives and projects as assigned
# Ensure organization's compliance with payroll regulations and labour laws
# Generate and analyze HR and payroll reports for management review
# Assist with full cycle recruitment
# Minimum 2 years experience in a Human Resources Payroll Coordinator role, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with Human Resources Information System (HRIS). Strong Computer Skills (MS Work, Excel, and PowerPoint). High proficiency in English (both written and verbal). AFIMAC is a global risk management and elite security company.
