TalentWorld is recruiting a Senior Payroll Administrator in Calgary, Alberta for one of our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Process payroll accurately for multiple regions, including Canada, the United States and other regions.
  • Manage payroll transactions and employee records with precision.
  • Utilize Timeco and Ceridian software for time tracking and benefits administration.
  • Prepare employment letters and assist with payroll inquiries.
  • Reconcile bonus reports and maintain vacation/sick leave balances.
  • Administer company benefits programs and assist with workers' compensation claims.
  • Support cross-functional projects as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in payroll administration, preferably in a multi-jurisdictional environment.
  • Proficient in using payroll software such as SAP, Timeco and Ceridian.
  • Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements in Canada and the United States.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in processing payroll transactions.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive payroll information with discretion.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with employees, managers, and external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid problem-solving skills and ability to resolve payroll-related issues efficiently.
  • Experience with benefits administration and workers' compensation claims management is a plus
Employment Details
  • Benefits: 40 Hours Weekly, Permanent, Full-Time, Onsite
  • Schedule: 8:00AM to 5:00PM, Monday to Friday
