TalentWorld is recruiting a Senior Payroll Administrator in Calgary, Alberta for one of our clients. Responsibilities- Process payroll accurately for multiple regions, including Canada, the United States and other regions.
- Manage payroll transactions and employee records with precision.
- Utilize Timeco and Ceridian software for time tracking and benefits administration.
- Prepare employment letters and assist with payroll inquiries.
- Reconcile bonus reports and maintain vacation/sick leave balances.
- Administer company benefits programs and assist with workers' compensation claims.
- Support cross-functional projects as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in payroll administration, preferably in a multi-jurisdictional environment.
- Proficient in using payroll software such as SAP, Timeco and Ceridian.
- Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements in Canada and the United States.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in processing payroll transactions.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive payroll information with discretion.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with employees, managers, and external stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid problem-solving skills and ability to resolve payroll-related issues efficiently.
- Experience with benefits administration and workers' compensation claims management is a plus
- Benefits: 40 Hours Weekly, Permanent, Full-Time, Onsite
- Schedule: 8:00AM to 5:00PM, Monday to Friday
