Territory Sales Manager

Our client is searching for a Territory Sales Manager to join their team. This role will be responsible for strategically increasing market shares through existing dealer and customer growth as well as new dealer and customer development throughout the Western Canada territory. A successful candidate will maintain exceptional dealer and customer relationships and conduct business in the highest ethical manner.
Your Success Will Be Defined By Your Ability To- Strategically growing market shares through competitive analysis of dealer and customer organizations within defined geography
- Drive performance improvement initiatives by providing on-site training and consultation to the existing dealer and customer network
- Identify, develop and train key dealer and customer personnel to leverage their resources to maximize sales for the various line of products
- Facilitate knowledge transfer to dealer and customer networks by coordinating webinars and seminars on various sales and service topics
- Maximize the dealers’ use of tools and programs to deliver a consistent customer experience and increase dealer performance
- Manage the successful identification, qualification, selection, and establishment of prospective dealers
- Prepare and present new dealer opportunities and existing dealer termination or cures to management for approval
- Support the Dealer Recognition programs
- Resolve dealer and customer issues regarding sales and service
- Monitor dealer and customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts
- Review sales reports and consult with dealers and customers to forecast sales and profitability
- Advise dealers on policies and operating procedures to ensure functional effectiveness of business
- Professionally represent company at trade association meetings to promote projects
- Review and analyze legislation, laws and public policy, recommend changes when applicable to promote and support the interest of the company
- Assess marketing potential of new and existing dealer store locations and prioritize territory marketing expenses to best support growth goals
- Work in connection with the IT department regarding all technology projects
- Approximately 50% travel will be required
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of B2B Sales experience
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Sales CRM and ERP software
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- High level of professionalism
- Excellent prospecting and closing skills
- Sales planning including forecasting and time management
- Territory management and market knowledge
- Proven history of meeting sales goals
- Seniority level Mid-Senior level
