**Territory Manager**

PurCann Pharma is one of the fastest growing cannabis producers in Canada, with a strong brand and cannabis product portfolio. **Position Description**:
**Key Responsibilities and Activities**:
Given the nature of the PurCann’s business, and the marketplace, the responsibilities will evolve and change over time. Accordingly, the company may add or remove from the duties and responsibilities set out below as circumstances change. Current duties and responsibilities of the Territory Manager include:

- Develop strong, long-term relationships with Cannabis retail teams - budtenders, store managers and inventory managers
- Achieve sales, distribution and market share objectives
- Build and deliver presentations and use effective selling techniques to introduce products, features and benefits, and educate store staff
- Utilize CRM software to keep accurate records on the account, the decision makers and key relationships
- Use best practices for route planning, territory coverage, call frequency and tracking performance against objectives
- Negotiate and activate merchandising programs for retail partners
- Work collaboratively with the retail teams to create a strategy to maximize reach, store impact and prioritize high volume and potential accounts
- Train and educate the cannabis retail store staff personnel on PurCann’s products and brands
- Participate in trade shows/events when required
- Utilize social media to interact with retailers and consumers to promote our brands in a compliant manner based on provincial and federal regulations
- Make field calls and track activities in each account
- Prepare and submit weekly reporting to management summarizing results against objectives
- Track and report on inventory (own and competitive)
- Implement ongoing programming and product specific focus tools at retailers
- Analyze needs of retail stores and teams and develop solutions
- Collaborate with retailers to implement sales floor displays to ensure PurCann’s products are maximized on shelf
- Monitor and track performance to objectives
- Work with the direct manager to ensure best practices are utilized and all engagement activities are within company and provincial and federal guidelines
- Resolve product/service problems, disruptions, and customer complaints

**Qualifications**:

- 2+ years’ direct sales experience, ideally in Cannabis, Beverage Alcohol, Pharma or CPG
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated experience in achieving and exceeding sales quotas/targets
- Experience in customer relationship management, and use of CRM
- Knowledge of cannabis market and trends would be considered an asset
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Skilled at assessing client needs and delivering solutions
- Valid driver’s license required
