Training is an increasingly important lever for our company to achieve the ambitions of growth for our brands. The Retail Education and Sales Specialist will contribute to our success by ensuring the beauty Advisors in the drugstore, department and specialty store are properly trained, coached, and that they have the capabilities to sell our products and to offer an excellent and consistent consumer experience. In this context, we are looking for a specialist to implement the Education strategy by training, developing and coaching stores staff through in-class sessions, on the shop floor sessions and virtual sessions, as well as to organize and execute store animations and special events. As a Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies for Sephora and our independent accounts to grow the territory, developing, and maintaining relationships with existing and potential customers and managing sales processes of the assigned territory Regions (GTA/East).
Build and implement the annual Education strategy in collaboration with the regional sales manager within the assignment territory.
Deliver in person and virtual trainings across the region related to product knowledge, soft skills, sales techniques, and brands history and values.
Build special events strategy and perform events and animations in key stores.
Track the Education budgets and report regularly to the manager.
Organize operational logistics of training sessions (training calendar, hotel bookings, update the training data base, etc.).
Collaborate on other administrative tasks requested by the role.
Meet/exceed monthly and annual sales objectives per assigned territory/accounts.
Establishing and developing strong sales relationships at store level with BA’s, and Store Leadership
Support strong partnership with retail employees and clients by providing service and support for any needs when in store.
Strong Digital awareness & knowledge of MS Office
Proven work experience as a Sales Representative or Trainer
Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
Ideally 3 years of previous experience in beauty category (Skincare, Fragrance and Make Up) in a retail sales and education specialist, trainer, or any other relevant position.
A valid drivers license is mandatory as well as access to a vehicle.
