**Position Outline - 2023**

**Sales Associate ~ Escala Sales & Marketing**
Description: _Regional Sales Associate responsible for sales, marketing, and distribution support in Central Ontario and the GTA._

**Requirements**:

- Prior work experience in the Industry/ as a Sales Rep is preferred but not required.
- Must have a valid passport for travel into the US
- Maintain a valid driver’s license, insurance & vehicle in working order.
- Must own a cell phone and laptop computer.
- Knowledge of MS Office, Google and Dropbox programs and their use.
- Ability to lift & carry 50lb. garment bags and heavy show materials.
- Ability to travel 100+ days/ year and to drive as needed to cover the territory.
- Ability to self-motivate and a willingness to work long hours during key sales periods (which could include weekends).

**Duties and Responsibilities (*include but are not limited to)**:
**Administrative**:

- Submit monthly reports to communicate to the Agency about the territory - including but not limited to dealer issues, sales performance, & competitor activity.
- Keep expenses at or below budget and provide monthly Expense report.
- Attend weekly team calls and contribute as appropriate.
- Be familiar with the Agency and its vendors’ policies and procedures and follow them.
- Perform special projects as assigned and on time.

**Attitude, Demeanour, Ethics and Style**
- Present an informal yet professional and caring attitude to all who you meet.
- Proactively present the Agency and your co-workers in a positive light

**Communication**
- Inform the Agency of account concerns and vendor conversations.
- Keep the Agency informed of time off planned and your strategy to accomplish tasks around these times off.
- Bring forth any concerns you have within your roll at the Agency as they arise.
- Share knowledge (sales, educational, competitive, etc...) with the Agency.
- Contribute to marketing and social media initiatives as required.

**Planning**:

- Plan your seasonal calendar to accommodate the territory needs (incl. presentations, trade shows, deadlines, clinics, consumer events etc..).
- Provide input for the Agency’s annual planning.
- Be aware of the Agency’s plans and actively work to support them and achieve goals.
- Be aware of budgets and plan your initiatives accordingly.
- Plan time off appropriately and ensure you are around during critical times.

**Sales & service**:

- Maintain the support the Toronto showroom
- Seasonal presentations of product lines to dealers and staff assigned to you.
- Collect & submit all pre-season and in-season orders for your accounts.
- Meet preseason deadlines and sales goals for the territory.
- Pursue In-season / ASAP orders as well as promotional sales.
- Communicate with Dealer Service (DS) & Vendors as needed.
- Be aware of all retailers in your territory (existing and potential), maintain a current dealer list, and open new accounts as approved by the Agency.
- Schedule travel in the territory to maximize effectiveness while being as efficient as is reasonable about travel distances, time, and expense.
- Promotion of the brands including employee purchase, consumer events, dealer camps, demo days and local & environmental initiatives.
- Staff training (PKs) and service dealers within your region including National accounts
- Attend in vendor sales meetings and trade shows as directed.

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
