We are currently seeking to expand our Business Development team at our Edmonton office by welcoming a dynamic, and driven sales professional with a growth mindset. Reporting to the Director of Business Development, the successful candidate will be responsible for proactively generating new business and managing existing accounts and will approach sales with a solution-oriented, relationship-based mindset, and demonstrate an ability to meet sales targets.
New Business Development:
Conduct market research to understand client needs, competitive landscape, and industry trends.
Utilize a consultative sales approach to present Executrade services, highlighting the value proposition and differentiating factors.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions that meet client requirements.
Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve or exceed sales targets.
Account Management:
Conduct regular account reviews to identify opportunities for cross-selling, and renewals.
Develop strategic account plans to maximize client satisfaction, retention, and long-term partnerships.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and resolve any client issues or concerns.
Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and client-specific challenges to provide proactive solutions and drive continuous improvement.
Proven experience in a sales role, preferably in the staffing industry or business-to-business (B2B) service sales.
Previous experience in professional services and in the staffing industries a definite asset.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven track record of generating leads through cold and warm calling, marketing campaigns, research and networking.
Experience working with corporate leaders and key decision makers (including the C-Suite) and proven success building relationships at this level and securing business.
Intrinsically driven to exceed sales goals and have an innate entrepreneurial spirit.
Demonstrated ability to manage accounts, including contract negotiation, cross-selling, and renewals.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are required.
