NorQuesters are difference makers and we’re searching for someone who can find ways forward, being boldly curious and intentionally courageous in the development of relationships with employer partners and community-based service providers to support learners in our Alberta Indigenous Construction Career Centre (AICCC), advancing our vision to provide access to meaningful employment training and supports to Indigenous peoples.

Reporting to the Manager, AICCC, the Partnership Advisor works to implement a Partnership Framework, utilizes SureHire data management system to create industry connections, and builds and revitalizes relationships with community-based service providers and employer partners. The AICCC is a unique service designed to connect prospective Indigenous workers with employers recruiting for construction-related careers, and the Partnership Advisor provides direct connection between our learners and employer partners with the goal of securing meaningful employment opportunities.

**HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE**
- Utilize the SureHire employer portal to create opportunities for learners to connect to the world of work by engaging with new and existing employers.
- Lead and assess the effectiveness of partnership processes with potential and current partners.
- Collaborate with the AICCC Manager to implement the Partnership Framework.
- Work with partners and their talent acquisition teams to identify opportunities for AICCC learners and how to best match and connect learners with opportunities.
- Work with Career Advisors and employer partners to provide post-hire support to learners to assist in securing long term success of positions.
- Assess, evaluate, plan, and revise employer supports.
- Encourage open communication among employers when discussing issues and concerns.
- Plan for and develop strategic collaborative relationships with local and provincial employers, industry, and provincial organizations to increase employment opportunities for AICCC learners.
- Identify opportunities to bring employer partners onboard and plan events to bring partners together with AICCC learners.
- Create and implement individual processes for employer partners to access the SureHire system, identifying opportunities to streamline processes as we build more relationships with potential partners.
- Engage other community-based service providers to make them aware of AICCC services and opportunities for employment.
- Create pathways for AICCC learners to access other services within the community and for referrals to come to the AICCC.
- Engage with other departments within NorQuest College to identify opportunities to work in partnership to benefit AICCC learners.
- Establish a sound knowledge of the SureHire data management system and PeopleSoft.
- Establish solid working relationships with program areas to identify potential opportunities for collaboration.
- Utilize the AICCC’s social media presence to engage AICCC learners about SureHire system, programs, and services.
- Develop podcasts to discuss trends in Indigenous participation in the workforce, opportunities for career development, the AICCC, and how potential learners can access our services.

**WHAT YOU BRING**

As a difference maker you bring:

- Previous experience developing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, Indigenous communities, and Indigenous serving community-based organizations.
- Well-developed interpersonal and rapport building skills to meet outcomes and establish meaningful long-term partnerships.
