Overview:

First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Technical Sales manager on behalf of one of our fantastic clients, specialising in selling road sweepers based in Bedfordshire. This position is hybrid and can be travelling anywhere in the UK.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop, review, and implement new business strategies and manage a portfolio of account in the sweeper and/ or vacuum tanker sectors.
Create new business relationships with potential customers.
Work closely with internal sales and marketing departments to build regional plans to seek out new business.
Acquire more business acumen through research, and analysis of industry trends and developments.
Assist in creating and delivering new business proposals.
Generate leads and cold call prospective customers.
Meet with customers digitally and face to face to ensure customer base and territory is covered.
Foster, develop and maintain good relationships with all customers.
Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these needs.
Communicating to clients consistently. Addressing any concerns and resolving any conflicts that arise.
Raising clients' business concerns and needs to the company's management.
Manage customers, journey plans and diary via our internal CRM (Salesforce).

Skills and Qualifications:

A good knowledge of the Road Sweeper and/or the Vacuum Tanker sector.
A professional approach to both internal & external customers, always offering first class customer service.
Sales experience.
Strong IT knowledge & computer skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a small team, building relationships with customers and colleagues.
Conscientious with a high level of attention to detail.
Good influencing and negotiating skills.
Valid UK driving licence.
Comply with all aspects of the company policies and follow published procedures where applicable.
