The Platform Specialistworks under the supervision of aPlatform & Engineering Manager and plays a pivotal role in maintaining, supporting and configuring our main platform, serving hundreds of thousands of organizations around the world. In this role, you will become a seasoned expert in platform configuration and support, leveraging tools like configuration screens, cmdlets, PowerShell, and more to meet diverse business and client demands. You will also participate in incident management and response investigating root cause and applying corrective actions when needed.
Here's how you will contribute to the success of the company
- Incident Response : Act as a first responder for production system failures and incidents, identifying root causes and applying corrective actions.
- Support Collaboration : Assist Level 2 and Level 3 support teams with complex technical issues, ensuring efficient problem resolution.
- Stakeholder Interaction : Gather essential information from internal stakeholders to fulfill needs such as customer profile modifications, production error corrections, implementation of new SKUs, price changes in batch, adjustment of reports, etc.
- Teamwork :Work closely with various teams to align and meet organizational goals, ensuring seamless communication and execution.
- Platform Configuration : Engage in platform configuration and data migrations, utilizing tools like cmdlets and PowerShell scripts to enhance system capabilities.
- Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities for process optimization and recommend automation strategies to reduce manual workloads.
- Deployment : Deploy solutions in production to improve system functionality and user experience, including the configuration of our application.
- Projects : Participate in project planning, including scope definition, time estimation, and functional analysis.
Here's what you need to take on this role
- Educational Background: College degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Skills: Analytical and methodical skills, strong problem-solving capabilities, customer service orientation, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines effectively.
- Technical Proficiency : General knowledge of Windows and Linux systems, with familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Azure. Basic skills in executing and understanding PowerShell scripts. Knowledge of SQL, MongoDB, and Google Cloud platforms is an asset.
- Experience : Proven ability to manage multiple projects, work collaboratively in team settings, and experience with .NET development and PowerShell scripts is preferred.
- Communication : Excellent communication skills in French and English, with the ability to simplify complex information for various audiences.
- Flexibility : Willingness to work on-call on a rotational basis and adapt to changing priorities under pressure.
