Join FX as a Openshift Specialist to ensure the reliability of our cloud services and solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and abilities:

· Candidate should have at least 4+ years of relevant hands-on experience in AWS cloud.

· Strong experience in AWS including VPC configuration, EC2, Load Balancers, Storage, Route 53, VPN, Direct Connect, Firewall Manager, CloudFront, WAF, Lambda, CloudWatch, etc.

· Deep knowledge and experience in solution and managing Red Hat OpenShift Platform clusters on AWS.

· OpenShift experience on AWS (and Azure an asset).

· Minimum 3 years to manage an OpenShift environment.

• Debugging

· Experience in Terraform to deploy infrastructure as a code.

· Experience working with Ansible, Python and Packer.

· Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps

· Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, etc.).

· Experience in containers Docker/Kubernetes

· knowledge of UNIX or Linux system and Windows systems

· Ability to translate architectural requirements into implementation details.

· Strong skills in developing effective processes and writing documentation.

· Ability to share and transfer knowledge.

· Strong communication and collaboration skills (peers, clients, partners).

· Analytical and detail-oriented, organized, ability to multi-task.

· Exceptional problem-solving skills.

· Flexible with a positive and professional attitude in a high-pressure environment.

· Azure, AWS or Google certification (asset).

· Bilingual in French and English (oral and written)

As a Cloud Specialist, the roles and responsibilities include:

· You will participate in the design of high-performance, reliable, resilient, economical and secure solutions to ensure successful deployments.

· You will make recommendations to ensure that the architecture meets the business needs.

· You will contribute to the design, implementation and support of server, storage, network and security infrastructures.

· You will create pipelines, deploy and monitor services, and perform incident management.

· You will also design, implement and test a recovery plan to compensate for potential downtime or failure scenarios.

· You may be required to identify potential bottlenecks impacting the performance of applications and cloud services.

· You will maintain data integrity by implementing appropriate access control for cloud services.

· You will design, implement and support the system monitoring infrastructure;

· You will create and implement cloud platform automation, monitoring and alerting elements, ensure that all infrastructure components meet appropriate performance and capacity standards, etc;

· As part of an operations center, you also be required to:

· Troubleshoot production issues and respond to escalations after hours.

· Ensure that solutions are maintained to a high standard of availability, scalability, security and compatibility.

· Participate in and evaluate proof of concepts for server, storage, network and security technologies to support cloud infrastructure.

· And not to mention the importance of ensuring an effective transition to operational teams.
