Our client is seeking a Human Resource Manager to maintain and enhance the organization’s human resources by planning, implementing and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs and practices in a unionized environment.

Human Resources Manager Responsibilities:

Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of the human resources department

Develop and implement HR strategies, policies and initiatives that align with the overall business strategy

Bridge management and employee relations for unionized and non-unionized employees by addressing grievances, arbitrations or other issues

Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and provincial requirements

Develop strong partnerships with all levels of internal and external business associates

Provide coaching, development, support, and direction to the human resources team

Human Resources Manager Qualifications:

Post-secondary education in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or a similar field

5 years of experience driving results in the labor relations and/or human resources field

Proven record of leading and managing a team

Previous experience working in a unionized environment for 5-8 years

Other Details

Monday – Friday, 8:30AM – 5:00PM

Onsite, must be able to travel between North York and Mississauga’s offices.
