Position Summary
This position will provide administrative support to the Human Resources department and will assist with recruitment activities for our hourly staff.
Position Functions
Assist in the hourly recruitment process for Ontario sites; including conducting phone screens, scheduling interviews, reference checks and coordination of pre-employment conditions
Support salaried recruitment as required
Work with the HR Administrator to track absences, following up & clearing employees to return to work
Assist HR Administrator with data entry into HRIS System and employee profile creation for all new hires
Participate in weekly On-boarding program for new hires and ensure all new hire documentation is received in a timely fashion
Filing and maintaining records for WSIB; ensuring employee files and leave management spreadsheets are accurate and up-to-date
Create and maintain e-files for all employees
Participate in creation of SOP’s for key HR processes
Other duties as assigned
Working Conditions
The successful incumbent will be working 40+ hours per week in an office setting. On-going use of computers is required.

Enrolled in Post-Secondary education in Business, HR or appropriate field.
Proficiency with Google and Microsoft Suites
Experience with Ceridian Dayforce HRIS system
Preference will be given to candidates with previous experience in a recruiting capacity
Candidate must be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
