Human Resources Coordinator

**Responsibilities**:

- Responds to human resources-related inquiries and requests
- Supports the onboarding of new employees, including entering data into human resources information system
- Supports workplace investigations and disciplinary-related issues
- Ensures legal compliance with human resources policies and procedures, making updates as necessary
- Works with managers to create and implement training opportunities for employees
- Performs related duties as assigned by the Director of Human Resources

Qualifications:

- Degree or diploma in Human Resources Management or related field
- 1-2 years previous experience working in human resources
- Sound knowledge of human resources management fundamentals, principles, and concepts
- Strong understanding of Ontario employment law, including but not limited to the _Employment Standards Act, 2000_, _Human Rights Code_, and the _Occupational Health and Safety Act_
- Ability to express ideas clearly in both written and oral communications
- Above-average interpersonal and relationship skills
- Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation an asset or working towards a designation

The Youngs Insurance offices are cleaned and sanitized on a daily basis. Clients are welcome to wear a mask if they are comfortable doing so.

- Niagara Falls, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Human resources: 2 years (preferred)
